US Trade Mission to Australia Selects Priam Vineyards' St. Croix Wines

The U.S. Department of Commerce and the Conneticut Export Assistance Center selected Priam Vineyards' St. Croix based wines, Westchester Red and Blackledge Rose' to represent Connecticut in Australia.

The U.S. Department of Commerce led the trade mission in an effort to promote importing, exporting, and tourism. Representatives from Connecticut companies, along with officials from the U.S. Department of Commerce, travelled to Australia for a week-long event entitled, "The Tastes and Sights of Connecticut".

With only a small percentage of American companies currently exporting, Australia is the perfect place to start. There's an interest in American products, and those products presented at this trade show were well received. The current exchange rate makes this a great time for companies to consider Australia as a new market.
