Musical Stylings of Jon Slow
Time & Location
About the Event
Join us for the musical stylings of Jon Slow!
It started with clarinet, flute and the sax
But Jon wanted to rock, so he picked up the axe
Though woodwind lessons provided the base
Just a room and guitar brought a smile to his face
His soul sprung to set free what lurked deep inside;
Humor and fear had no place left to hide
Metaphor flourished in a band called Wouldshed
Detroit and Ann Arbor: where skill expanded
A stint on the radio, station 89X
And a cameo on Kid Rock’s LP in the mix
Jon hooked up with the real tallest man on earth
Many gigs in the Village spawned the Jon Slow Band
Recording “Windmill Place” with their hearts and their hands
From the Elbow Room down to Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill
Honing chops and tightening tunes was on the bill
Now back in New England with a new repertoire
With acoustic originals and covers, appearing soon in your restaurant, winery, brewery, or bar!
